With the end of the semester hitting you like a ton of bricks, you may want a distraction from all of your stress. Luckily, with the holidays coming up and only a few more weeks left of school, now is the perfect time to start decorating your dorm room or apartment to make it more festive. Curbing Your TV Addiction

I have a problem. I’m addicted to TV. And it’s gotten even worse since I got to college, especially with the convenience of Netflix and Hulu. The temptation is so real. And who can blame me? With seemingly hundreds of responsibilities to worry about that you don’t even know where to start, it’s pretty easy to just binge watch your favorite show on Netflix and get engrossed in a fantasy world for a few hours. But when does your love of TV turn into an addiction? Is it really healthy to binge watch an entire series in a night when you have an exam tomorrow that you should be studying for? New Movies

I always love it when I am surprised by movies. This post might turn into another “try new things” inspirational talk, but I think it’s intriguing how there can be a movie (or a book, song…anything really) that I have little to no interest in seeing, and then can turn into the opposite. For example, when Mad Max: Fury Road came out a couple years ago, I had absolutely no interest in seeing it. I did end up going to the theater, though, and it’s now one of my favorite movies of all time.
