Silhouette can be found at Deet's Place, Squires Student Center, Newman Library, Shanks Hall, McBryde Hall and the GBJ Student Center.
Silhouette is the award winning literary and art magazine of EMCVT, an independent company associated with Virginia Tech. The magazine is completely student run. Student staff come from all backgrounds and majors. Released once per semester, Silhouette provides a forum for creative work by the undergraduate and graduate students at Virginia Tech including - but not limited to - poetry, prose, artwork and photography.
Silhouette devotes itself to promoting the arts in and around the Virginia Tech community. Through Open Mic Benefits, concerts and other events, Silhouette provides a place for Virginia Tech students and community members to express themselves through the arts.
Silhouette is also devoted to providing Virginia Tech students with real world experience in all aspects of magazine development, design and production.
